Alta Vista Credit Union Onboards Audit Solution

Alta Vista Credit Union recently began implementing ViClarity compliance and auditing software solutions to streamline a variety of manual management tasks and processes. Through this partnership, Alta Vista is taking advantage of time savings and automation to drive their mission: making finance more profitable for their members.

“Coming into this position, I noticed there were definitely opportunities for growth,” said Connie Roberto, Internal Auditor at Alta Vista Credit Union. ”Attending conferences and events opened my eyes to the options and layouts for reporting and I grasped that we were really behind on how reporting gets done.”

Prior to onboarding ViClarity’s software, Alta Vista completed their audit processes through email and Excel sheets, a laborious and manual approach that slowed them down and “always invited human error, if someone left and their reporting documents were difficult to find or recover.”

Finding a Solution

As they began their search for a better solution to reporting, Roberto and her team discovered ViClarity through the California Credit Union League and started doing their own research. With the help of the ViClarity league support team, they were able to set up a meeting to decide if ViClarity was the right fit for them.  

“The customer service and care were beyond anything else. There was genuine interest that was about more than becoming our vendor – [ViClarity] really wanted to make sure this was beneficial for us,” said Roberto.

After internal discussions, Alta Vista Credit Union decided ViClarity could help them streamline their processes.

Looking Ahead to Efficiency and Growth

“The credit union team and our audit committee are really excited for the consistency we are going to be able to create -- and the accountability. We are really setting ourselves up to grow and elevate towards more success,” said Roberto.

The addition of dynamic reporting, visualization, and oversight in ViClarity’s platform will give Roberto and her team the opportunity to become more agile and strategic, so they can put their best foot forward.
